OUR OPINION…. Europes Highest Resort with views across Italy, France & Switzerland Purpose built & on a sloping hill, way above the tree line & Spectacular skiing , Caters very well for the non skier , a well rounded resort for the whole family. Not for those on a tight budget.
The Village….Although quite a big village still perfectly compact and distinctly stylish with a lively buzz filled with ample restuarants and pubs.
The Skiing….Set in a huge ski bowl Europes highest ski resort offers excellent snow conditions along with superb views as well as one of the best lift systems. The 3 snowparks offer fabulous entertainment for the whole family. A worthwhile resort to visit.

The village is 90% car free but can get chaotic with deliveries etc..but everything is withinwalking distance.

Adventure sports – Night time hikes, Mountian biking on snow, Ice driving , Paragliding , Ice diving , Snowmobile rides , Segway Outtings, Sled Dogs rides , Bowling Alley , Cinema , Jazz/Classical concerts . Val Thorens offers a Full Sports Centre with Gym , Swimming pool , Jacuzzi , Beauty treatments , Various Dance classes , Various Ball sports , Kids Centre and loads more.

Getting There and Around
Scheduled shuttle transfers are available from the main airports on weekends. Private Transfers are available and incredibly flexiable with your requirements.
Trains – For the adventureous trains are available from all major cities and airport to Moutier and then a transfer can be arranged for the last 37km.
