The world famous resort of Davos combines over 325km of marked skiing and an efficient free bus and train service links the six ski areas which include the royal Klosters and the Madrisa areas. This lively town has plenty to delight the non skier including scenic train rides, chic boutiques and the bustling nightlife.
Davos is the venue for many world conferences, as it is a large town with lots of accommodation and things to do. The world championship ice skating is often held there. Although Davos has great skiing and lots to do, it has a railway junction which detracts from its looks and prevents it from being described as truly scenic.
