Cortina, known as the Pearl of the Dolomites, is one of the top resorts in the Dolomiti Superski area. It is in a wide, bowl shaped valley surrounded by spectacular mountains whose slopes are guaranteed to be perfectly groomed.
The local skiing is extensive and varied and other resorts such as S.Cassiano and Corvara in the Dolomiti Superski area are easily reached from the Falzarego mountain pass. The well known runs of Socrappes and Cristello offer great skiing. The resort offers numerous activities including many for the non skier.
The movie “Cliffhanger” starring Sylvester Stallone was filmed here. The centre is lively and the shopping excellent. To ski on different parts of the ski area, it is often necessary to catch the ski bus, as some parts of the ski slopes are not linked to each other.

Night life – try the apres ski bars, pubs and more. For the youngsters there are the many disco’s and clubs.
Adventure sports – there is walking, paragliding, indoor pools and X country skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
Restaurants abound, with all sorts of diners in town, as well as many mountain restaurants for skiers to enjoy.
If you are bored with skiing we will arrange excursions for you to places like Munich, Salzburg, Innsbruck etc!
