Summer skiing – Cervinia / Zermatt as a summer ski area is hard to beat! Cervinia is one of Europe’s best and highest. It is dominated by some of Europe’s grandest peaks. In summer there are between 30 and 50 Kms of beautiful galcier skiing to enjoy. The ideal time for summer skiing is between about 8am to after lunch, after which ski conditions are not as good as the mornings.
The 18 hole golf course is just fantastic. To play at the foot of the mighty Matterhorn and Monte Rosa on the highest course in Europe is to play amongst waterfalls, streams and flowers galore.
The centre of Cervinia is closed to vehicles and is unspoiled by traffic. Summer in the village is just gorgeous, with sidewalk beer cafe’s, cattle walking through town, sunset late at night, flowers everywhere …. for the active there is walking to waterfalls with picnic basket, horse riding, climbing, pubs, good food, scenery and relaxation to die for!

Our Opinion:
SKI IN THE MORNING AND GOLF IN THE AFTERNOON! In the shadow of the mighty Matterhorn! Snow sure, high altitude, user friendly.…
