Great skiing and a traditional gem of a village!
The Village….Maybe the most beautiful village centre in the Alps. Car free, compact, clothing and curio shops, coffee bars, restaurants and pubs. Clubbing for the energetic. Enough variety, yet small enough to enjoy!
The Skiing….One of Europe’s best. Dominated by the mighty Matterhorn and surrounded by some of the grandest peaks in the Alps. Long hours of sunshine, huge ski area and long runs. Snow guaranteed glacier resort with the best summer skiing in Europe!
Italy
Our Opinion:
Snow sure, high altitude, family friendly, car free village. Ideal for beginners, intermediates and powder addicts…

Resort Facilities / Activities
Shops – clothing and equipment shops, curios, 2 mini-markets for food and essentials. Chemist, Liquor Outlet, Jewellery Shops , The 2 banks and ATM machines make life easy, A laundromat for washing.
The village is too small to need a car. Everything is in walking distance.
Night life – try the No-name pub, the Welsh Bar, the Ymmeltrob cocktail bar with its live music, the Copapan Pub, the Yeti, Gasoline, and the band at the Scottish bar, and many more. For the youngsters there is the White Rabbit disco and Le Club.
Adventure sports – the Heli Skiing in Cervinia is just awesome, and there is climbing (the mighty Matterhorn!) paragliding, snow and summer 18 hole golf, a snow park on the Bontadini run, curling, indoor pools and X country skiing. There is an ice museum worth seeing and the Ice Hotel on the mountain in the Zermatt area.
Cervinia has a terrific outdoor Ice Rink. Great for kids to do at night.
Cervinia has an Ice Carting track – race each other on a snow Go-Kart and have fun!
Small kids can play, toboggan and have fun at Kids Zone, right at the base of the slopes.
Restaurants abound, with all sorts of diners in town, as well as many mountain restaurants for skiers to enjoy. A few coffee shops with one offering the most decadent pastries and cakes.
If you are bored with skiing we will arrange excursions for you to places like Milan, Zermatt, Valtournenche, Turin, Aosta & Lake Como!
Getting There and Around
Transfers from the airports to Cervinia -Scheduled shuttle transfers and private transfers are available, depending on your requirements, and your arrival and departure times. Trains are not really an option as they don’t go all the way to the resort.
